Before attending a live instructor training: Know Before You Go

After enrolling, you will receive an automated confirmation email with specific course details. For virtual training courses, the instructor's virtual meeting room link info will be sent to all learners a week prior to the training.
To ensure you are receiving important training details & communications from us, we advise adding plsnore@adobe.com (our no-reply account) and pls@adobe.com to your address book, contacts, or safe sender list.

All virtual live instructor-led trainings are conducted via Adobe Connect 11 (browser-based) with VOIP audio. You can use your computer’s internal speakers or headphones. Microphone access is allowed, but not required. Please ensure you have a strong Internet connection. On the day of training: Please launch your your instructor's virtual link 5 minutes before class starts.

Upon launching:
1. On the Guest screen, enter your first & last name.
2. Enter your classroom.
3. Wait to be accepted into the room by the instructor.

Ensure you meet any additional system requirements for your virtual live instructor-led class by scrolling down to the "System Requirements" section below on this page.

Be on the lookout for reminder emails during the week prior to the start of training. Inside that email will contain your class location or instructor's virtual meeting room link. To ensure you are receiving important training details & communications from Adobe Digital Learning Services, we advise adding plsnore@adobe.com (our no-reply account) to your address book, contacts, or safe sender list.

You can also find the same details located in your Learning Dashboard. Follow these steps:

Sign in and find your enrolled course.

If you are attending a private onsite training, obtain your class facility address from your internal training organizer.

For all other training attendees:

Click here to sign in and access the Learning Dashboard.
Locate the class you're looking for, and click on the title to view details.
You'll be able to see the location or your Instructor's virtual room link next to the time zone.

IMPORTANT: keep an eye on communications from Adobe Digital Learning Services, or check your Dashboard in case there's any change in your instructor information before the first day of class.

Location/Address:

If you are attending a public classroom training, locate your course & location details in your Learning Dashboard.
If you are attending a private onsite training, obtain your Class Facility address from your internal training organizer.

Laptops:

Students are required to bring their own laptops. Remember to scroll to the System Requirements section on this page below to check any additional system requirements.

Live instructor trainings: For customers attending live instructor-led training (virtual or in-person), PLS will provide one training instance per attendee for the class duration only. Your instructor will provide the instance details and access on the first day of class.

System requirements for live instructor training

In preparation for class, it’s important to check these system setup requirements before attending a virtual or in-person live instructor course. Please read the general checklist, and see if you have any additional requirements for your course solution.

System requirements & general checklist for ALL virtual attendees:

During the week prior to training: the instructor's virtual meeting room link info will be sent to all learners.

On the day of training

Launch your instructor's virtual link 5 minutes before class starts.
Upon clicking on the link to launch:
- On the Guest screen, enter your first & last name.
- Enter room.
- Wait to be accepted into the room by your instructor.
The class will be delivered via Connect with VOIP audio. You can use your computer’s internal speakers or headphones. Microphone access is allowed, but not required.

Computer or laptop with a keyboard and mouse
- 8 GB RAM or more for optimal browser performance
Second, external monitor is preferred
- Minimum resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels
Internet connection of 100mbps or more

Recommended web browsers are Chrome or Firefox
Able to access login screen* only, for Adobe CX Enterprise
- Login information will be provided during training
Have access to a text editor
Have a program to extract archive (.zip) files
Have a program to read PDFs such as Adobe Reader

* Do not log in. Please simply test that you can access the link in your browser without your company networks blocking. You may see "your Adobe ID is not linked to your Adobe Experience Cloud solution accounts" message, which is expected. The links are not intended for learners to access anything in advance until arriving to class. On the first day of class, your instructor will provide the credentials to log in.

Additional system requirements for the following solutions:

A personal, public GitHub account.

Students will access the Adobe Digital Learning Services’ Adobe Experience Manager company account for the duration of the class to complete course labs.

Adobe Experience Manager (Technical courses only)

Technical courses use a virtual machine software called Readytech. Before class, make sure you:

Complete Accessibility Precheck and verify access to the ReadyTech login screen only (Do not log in).

The Campaign client is a Windows only application. If you do not have a Window machine to install the Campaign client, a virtual environment called Readytech will be provided to you during class.

If you don’t have a Windows machine or the ability to install software, make sure to:

Complete Performance Precheck
Complete Accessibility Precheck and verify access to the ReadyTech login screen only (Do not log in).

Some technical AEP courses use Postman for API related activities. If you don’t have the ability to install on your computer, you will receive a virtual machine called Readytech during class.

If you don’t have the ability to install software, make sure to:

Complete Performance Precheck
Complete Accessibility Precheck and verify access to the ReadyTech login screen only (Do not log in).

Recommendations for a successful training

Be on time, and schedule other meetings at other times. Let the instructor know if you must drop for a meeting.
Wait for breaks for reading emails, etc.
Ask questions. Participation is more than welcome. Ideas can be shared!
Let the instructor know if you need help with an exercise.
Put your microphone on mute when not speaking.
Engage in any quizzes, questions, and discussions.
