Authoring Web Content with Edge Delivery Services Document Authoring is a 2-hour course introducing content authors to Adobe’s Document Authoring environment for Edge Delivery Services (EDS). It is designed for business users and web/content editors who want a simple, intuitive way to create and manage EDS web pages using the browser-based authoring interface.

You will learn how to create pages, edit content using blocks and inline tools, work with media, view versions, and use search and replace. The course focuses on practical everyday tasks that help teams quickly produce and update web content in EDS. Technical concepts are covered only at a high level for context and awareness.

This is an introductory transition course. Participants should have basic familiarity with EDS and ideally experience with another EDS authoring method, such as Document-based Authoring or AEM’s Universal Editor. For those new to EDS concepts, attending an introductory EDS overview course beforehand is recommended.

Basic understanding of Edge Delivery Services
Recommended: prior experience with Document-based Authoring (Google Docs / Word) or AEM Universal Editor authoring for EDS

After completing this course, you will be able to:

Access Document Authoring and navigate project folders
Create new pages and edit content using text, lists, blocks, and tables
Use the inline forward-slash menu and editing shortcuts
Preview pages, review version history, and restore earlier versions
Search for content across pages and use search-and-replace effectively
Add images using drag-and-drop or AEM Assets integration
Embed non-image assets such as videos
Understand the purpose of DA Apps at a high level, including features such as Snapshots
Confidently begin authoring web content using the EDS Document Authoring interface
