- Understand AEP Architecture: Explore the core components and architecture of Adobe Experience Platform, including data ingestion, storage, and activation.
- Data Modeling and Management: Learn how to create and manage data schemas, datasets, and profiles to ensure data integrity and usability.
- Real-Time Customer Profiles: Discover how to build and utilize real-time customer profiles to deliver personalized experiences across channels.
Day 1: Designing Real-Time Customer Profile
Walk through the goals for the bootcamp, gain a deep understanding of how the Real-Time Customer Profile is built so that you understand how to work with it, review LID methodology, learn how to label the primary and supporting entities of the Real-Time Customer Profile in the existing relational data model, identify other schemas that are not part of the Real-Time Customer Profile, identify identities, relationships and required fields for the Real-Time Customer Profile bound schemas, and how to approach de-normalizing other schemas that are not part of the Real- Time Customer Profile as well as handling use case specific requirements.
Day 2: Building the Experience Model
Learn the basic concepts around how to model schemas using the Experience Data Model (XDM), Work with the UI to design and build the Customer Account schema, review Schema evolution design principles and other descriptors, how data flows into the Experience Platform and understand how to connect, debug and data ingestion flows. Understand ingestion of data into AEP using Streaming Sources and reusability of the Data Prep jobs, Inspect the Real-Time Customer Profile and understand how all the data comes together and setup Destinations.
Day 3: Activating the Real-Time Customer Profile
Learn how segmentation operates in the Real-Time Customer Profile and how it works with Destinations and the Edge Profile to deliver personalized experiences, familiarize yourself with the segmentation UI to build and activate a simple segment to a destination, build a segment based on use case requirements and evaluate it for streaming and batch, and evaluate the benefits of having immutable events with sequential segmentation while gaining a better understanding building dynamic segments in the UI.
